Where are the most dangerous spots on Chicago's Lakefront Trail?

The city doesn't keep detailed enough statistics to definitively answer this question. But the limited data that the Chicago Park District does have -- as well as observing the trail's traffic levels and configurations -- paint a common-sense picture.

The stretch between Fullerton Avenue and the Museum Campus typically is the most congested, says Active Transportation Alliance program specialist Randy Warren, who has worked with city officials on Lakefront Trail safety issues.
