Raining inside the Atrium; Leaks in building's glass roof expected to be repaired this week.(Capital Region)

TROY - Walking through the Atrium about a couple of weeks ago, you could have used an umbrella.

But owner David Bryce said crews made a temporary fix last week, and a more permanent repair is being done this week.

It was raining heavily inside the downtown mall Dec. 16, with garbage pails and buckets scattered around both floors and puddles outside Miele's Cafe.

Seven buckets lined the door outside the second-floor entrance, which is not used in the winter.

Bryce said the problem was supposed to be fixed earlier this month, but this hasn't been ideal weather for roof repairs on the building. …
