FED: Top bureaucrat pay rises branded inappropriate =2
Finance Minister John Fahey said the government had not yet decided whether to accept the
tribunal's decision.
"It is their report, it has been delivered to government and government will determine
whether it accepts that report or not, whether it accepts it in some form or another," Mr
Fahey told reporters.
"I would make this point, though: we do live in the commercial world and our senior public
servants at commonwealth level are significantly below their counterparts in states like New
