NSW: One person killed, man trapped in accident
A person has been killed and another remains trapped in a three-car pile-up on the
NSW south coast.
A spokesman for the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter says the sole occupant of one
vehicle was killed, while a 59-year-old man in another vehicle remains trapped.
The accident happened on the Princes Highway, three kilometres north of Berry, about
1.40pm (AEST).
The spokesman says three people have been taken to Shoalhaven Hospital.
The trapped man will be airlifted to Wollongong Hospital.
