NSW: No survivors from head on on Princes Highway

At least two people have died in an horrific head-on road smash on the Princes Highway,
south of Eden on the New South Wales south coast.

At this stage police cannot determine how many people were in either the utility or
sedan which collided at 5.15pm (AEST) but they say there are no survivors.

A police spokesman says given the ferocity of the crash it appears that everyone involved
has died.

They believe there are at least two people, possible more.

Police say it appears the utility was carrying containers of diesel, phosphate and
petrol which have spilt all over the highway.

North and southbound lanes of the Princes Highway are expected to be blocked for some time.
